Upstream Transit Connectivity (Resolved)

  • An upstream connection issue has been detected resulting in some intermittent connection issues from connections coming in over a specific transit provider. 
    This issue has been reported to the carrier for further investigation. 

     

    [Update 11:11am WST] The carrier has confirmed an issue on their network. Changes have been made to isolate this carrier from being used until the issue is addressed and stability returns. 

    [Update 11:30am WST] The carrier has identified the issue as a core router failure and are currently working to replace and restore the service to normal levels. 

    [Update 11:40am WST] The carrier has advised that this issue has now been resolved and will be returned to normal usage.

  • The Nameserver ns1.netorigin.net/ns1.myhost.net.au is currently experiencing an outage due to an issue with the core infrastrucre host for that device. 

    Our team are currently working with the supplier to resolve the problem, however in the mean time DNS resolution via ns1.netorigin.net/ns1.myhost.net.au will not respond. 

    This should cause no noticable impact to users as long as DNS Delegation on domains is to ns1, ns2, ns3 and ns4, allowing the other servers to take over the task of the NS1 server while it is offline.
