How do I modify PHP configuration settings for my website?

To modify PHP variables, such as memory_limit you need to create a php.ini file and add 
the required over-ride values. 

The php.ini file must be located in your home directory, the directory above your public_html
and must contain only the required over-ride variables. 

Some variables may cause issues with the performance of functionality of your site so it is 
recommended to keep things minimal based on the advise of your developer. 

An example of a php.ini file content may be:

memory_limit = 512M
post_max_size = 64M
