How do I access my emails on my iPhone?

You can access your emails through the iPhone mail app. Before configuring your iPhone, you will first need to create your email account through cPanel. Your cPanel account login details were sent to you when you first registered with Netorigin. If you are unsure on how to create an email account, then please refer to the following article.

Once you have created your email account through cPanel you can access your emails through the iPhone Mail App by doing the following:

1. Click on the "Settings" app then "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
1. Click on Add Account
2. If you are given a choice of predefined services eg iCloud, select "Other"
3. Click on Add Mail Account
4. For the given field please enter the following and click Next:

Name: Enter your first and last name
Email: Enter the email address that you want to use
Password:  Enter the password you set when you created the email account in cPanel
Description: Enter the nickname you want to call email account

5. For the incoming mail server enter in the following details:
Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com.au (where yourdomainname.com.au is the domain name for the email account)
Username: Enter in your email address
Password: Enter in your email address password


6.  For the outgoing mail server enter in the following details, even though it says optional:
Host Name: mail.yourdomainname.com.au (where yourdomainname.com.au is the domain name for the email account)
Username: Enter in your email address
Password: Enter in your email address password


7. Click Next (at the top of the screen). If you are prompted with a screen that say "Cannot Verify Server Identity" then click "Continue"
8. Click Save (at the top of the screen)


Confirm your settings are correct
On some occasions you may continue to receive error messages. If this is the case go to "Mail, Contact, Calendars" click on the relevant email account and select "Advanced" down the bottom of the screen. Please check and see that you have the following settings:


SSL: On
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 993

If not, change to the above settings select "< Account" in the top left hand screen and select "Done" in the top right hand of the screen
