How can I improve my website's performance?
1. Disable or uninstall any unnecessary website plugins (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal and etc.)
Each plugin you have on your website uses CPU and I/O, and will slow down your website (think of it like if you have too many applications open your computer, it will begin to slow down or crash completely). If you know that you are not using a certain plugin, then disable it.
2. Enable CloudFlare CDN & Railgun
If you wish to enable these services on your website, please ensure that you are using Netorigin name servers and your domain name is set up with the www. prefix eg www.netorigin.com.au and not netorigin.com.au. Please refer to the How do I activate CloudFlare CDN? article for further instructions.
3. Configure your website to cache as much content as possible
This is only recommended for websites where content does not change too frequently. Caching content allows your website content to be stored for faster delivery (either on a visitors web browser, or in the server RAM) so your website does not have to use CPU and RAM to deliver the same content all the time.
We recommend downloading user friendly plugins such as W3 Total Cache or W3 Super Cache in order to cache content on your WordPress website.
